Booking and Availability
Gingerbread Cottage is available throughout the year for weekly self-catering lettings. Shorter lettings (minimum 2 nights) may be available on application, particularly in the low season.
Normally lettings are from 1600 hrs Saturday to 1000 hrs next Saturday. Guests need bring with them only food and drink and normal personal items and clothes, as the cottage has most requirements. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Tariff
High Season:
May & Oct: £350 per week
Jun, Jul, Aug & Sept: £370 per week
Low Season:
Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb: £290 per week
Mar & Apr: £300 per week
Short Breaks: (Low season only; Price for the cottage, not per person)
2-3 nights: £60 per night

Making a Reservation & Paying a Deposit
To make a reservation either telephone/fax/email or complete the online form .If the cottage is available for the dates you require, a reply will be returned by phone or email affirming availability. A Booking Form will be sent to you (together with Booking Conditions). Return the completed Booking Form within 7 days, enclosing your non-refundable deposit of £50.00 (per week booked). This will be acknowledged and your booking confirmed.
[For overseas residents a deposit is not required]
Making Payments
Payment by UK cheque (payable to Mrs GA Lewis), Sterling Travellers Cheques, or cash only. We regret that we are unable to accept credit cards.
The balance owed must be paid not less than 30 days before occupancy. [Overseas residents may, however, pay on arrival]
In the event of cancellation by the client the deposit is non-refundable. If the client cancels within the last 30 days the full amount, less deposit, will be refunded only if the cottage is re-let. It is strongly recommended that clients take out an appropriate holiday protection insurance. Fuller details are given in the Gingerbread Cottage Booking Conditions.

Pets, Children and Non-Smoking
Please, no pets. The cottage has a travel cot and baby bath suitable for a child under one year old. However children between 1-8 years old are not allowed (because of water hazards, ponds nearby). A single folding bed is available which can be set up either in the upstairs bedroom or separately downstairs for an older child. Smoking inside the cottage is not permitted.
Where to find us
From the A36 between Warminster and Salisbury, turn south at Codford (about 3 miles from A303/A36 junction),
at the signpost for Stockton and Sherrington. Cross the river Wylye at bridge. 0.5 mile turn right at T junction. 0.5 mile turn right into Sherrington village. After 100 yds first turn left down short hill. 50 yds turn into driveway of Sheepfold Cottage (No 12) and Gingerbread cottage. In front of you is the village pond.
